Due to constant rise of the video game industry, the demand for game developers is increasing at a steadfast rate. The Game Development Workshop will impart participants with the knowledge of the tools and techniques needed for design and development of games. This intensive two-day workshop will explore the day-to-day craft of game design through hands-on activities, group discussion, analysis, and critique. The training focus is to enable participants to develop interactive games using JavaScript and C# with the help of live projects.

Description:
Bridge Design is a vital topic of study in Civil Engineering. Bridges are the primary example to prove the importance of Civil Engineers. In the Bridge Design Workshop, participants will design and fabricate their own bridge. The bridge model made by participants can take up to 1000 times the self-weight. The workshop includes instruction on the key structural components of Structural engineering and bridge construction � beams, arches, trusses, suspensions, and test for maximum load.

Description:
Quadcopter, also called a Quadrotor helicopter, is a rotary-wing aircraft with four rotors which has marked its interests for the benefit of both civil and military domains. The workshop helps participants understand the concepts and use of accelerometer sensor, microcontrollers and wireless communication in designing and controlling a Quadcopter.

AUGMENTED REALITY

Augmented reality (AR) is a cutting-edge technology that shows impressive promises when it comes to affecting a human's behaviour at relevant moments. It allows for a digitally enhanced view of the real world, connecting you with more meaningful content in your everyday life. With the camera and sensors in a smart phone or tablet, AR adds layers of digital information - videos, photos, sounds - directly on top of items in the world around us.
With AR, it is easy to have a great digital experience on top of interactive magazines, ads, packaging, business cards and other items, for e.g. users point a smart phone at an object, like a radio. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) maps digital information onto the surface then an application recognizes the object and intuitively generates a graphical interface to control the object's knobs and buttons or to be programmed from afar. Similarly a person can point their smart phone at the night sky and view the layout of the stars and planets in their exact locations with full definitions.
